Count Ministry
Ministry Leader: Chris Jones
The mission of the NBCC Count Ministry is to accurately and timely collect, count and deposit the seed sown into the storehouse of God. The count team is responsible for receiving sown seed from the Seaters and Greeters and securing the seed. The Count Ministry is also responsible for disbursement
of petty cash to ministries and receiving income from ministries.
Finance
Ministry Leader: Jeni Wilson The mission of the Finance Ministry is to: - Be good financial stewards in handling contributions to the church
- Be a standard-bearer and a witness in the area of church fiduciary matters
- Enable the pastor and eldership to be free to do ministry effectively and efficiently
"Least of These" (Hospitality Ministry)
Ministry Leader: Jackie Taggart-Boyd
"For I was hungry and you gave me food." The question is asked, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you?". Jesus replies simply, "Truly, as you did it to the least of these, my brothers and sisters, you did it to me."
We will provide an opportunity to witness and to serve both our internal and external communities through excellence in hospitality. We will provide comfort in times of sorrow by providing delicious and thoughtfully designed menus to families in bereavement. We will contribute to unspeakable joy by providing appropriate and unique food and beverage for celebrations. We will support all NBCC ministries by handling the myriad of mundane minutia required to provide sustenance for guests in our home. We will perform our service in a manner that is professional, dignified and demonstrates the love of Christ to those being served.
